Quinta da Pêcega has been in the family for about 200 years and is located in the Douro Demarcated Region, with panoramic views over the Douro River. The wine produced comes from old vines, hand-cultivated on narrow terraces, using noble grape varieties from the region.

 

The grape harvest takes place in September, with the grapes hand-picked and traditionally transported in harvest baskets carried on the backs of men to the winery. The wine was produced in traditional stone presses, with foot treading.

 

This wine celebrates the old times, when the harvest was a festive occasion and a moment of togetherness between generations.

 

Each bottle blends the ancient knowledge of ancestors, carrying the weight of tradition and the soul of Quinta da Pêcega.
